Diet culture is negatively affecting women's mental and physical wellbeing. In many cases it’s also contributing to weight struggles and disordered eating behaviour.
Like you, we’re frustrated with all of the conflicting nutritional information and BS [bad science] diet advice being peddled on social media. There are too many food rules being promoted as "healthy lifestyles".
We know that when women set food rules or restrict the foods that they eat it often leads to increased emotional eating, binge eating and overeating. There is no "good" or "bad" food. There is just food. We want you to truly enjoy your relationship with it.
We've been helping women to improve their relationship with food and deepen their mind-body connection for years. It's what we're most passionate about. After all, eating needs to be flexible, enjoyable and most of all it needs to fit your lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What happens in each session? Do I need to share with others?
Learning and connection. Each session will begin with a live lesson and will be following by a community discussion and end with an insightful activity to deepen your experience. How much or how little you share with the community is completely up to you. Some people may choose to share more or less than others. We encourage you to share only what feels right for you. We will cover a range of topics based on foundations of nourishing wellbeing including mindset and motivation, intuitive and mindful eating, mind-body connection, gentle nutrition and joyful movement.
-
Do I have to attend the meetings? Will I fall behind if I miss a session?
The community meetings are structured to foster a deeper connection. While we’d love to have you there with us at each live meeting, it's okay if you need to miss a session here or there. You won't fall behind, and we'll still hold space for you. Each session will be recorded, so you can watch the replay anytime that works for you.
-
How can I work with Sylvi or Kacie individually?
Sylvi accepts patients who live in Ontario for 1:1 naturopathic care, and Kacie accepts patients who live in New York State for 1:1 dietician care. If you are looking for a clinician to work with in your province or state, please reach out to us and we will be happy to connect you our community of practitioners who practice in your area.
-
Is this a treatment program? Will I be provided with individualized health advice?
This is an educational and inspirational program that is meant to connect you with a community and empower you to make your own health decisions and engage in informed discussions with your own practitioners who will guide your treatment. This is not a therapeutic treatment program and you will not be provided with any individualized healthcare advice. Should you wish to work with Sylvi or Kacie on a 1:1 basis, you are welcome to contact them individually - please note that this will depend on your location, as Sylvi and Kacie limit their practice to their respective areas.
-
Are there age restrictions to joining the group?
At this time, the group is for women ages 18 and up.
-
Is the education provided evidence based?
Sylvi and Kacie both strongly believe in an evidence-informed approach to wellbeing. While we don’t always need research to confirm that something is good for us (we don’t need a study to confirm that a soothing cup of hot tea at the end of the day feels nice), we do appreciate what research brings to the table when we’re incorporating nutritional information, intuitive eating, mindfulness and motivational theory into our approach. We also value evidence-informed nutritional information – meaning we won’t ever jump on the fad diet bandwagon.
-
What technology do I need for the live meetings?
You will need a Zoom account (free) and a good internet connection in order to participate in the meetings. If you're new to using Zoom - we'll provide an overview of using the features at the first meeting.
-
Can I cancel my membership?
If at any point you feel that this isn’t the right community for you, you may cancel your subscription by emailing us.
-
I am transgender. Can I join this women's only group?
We welcome anyone who identifies as being female into the group. We do our best to ensure that this is a safe space.
